This coffee table was designed by Jean-Claude Mahey and Eric Maville for the design house Roméo in the 1970s. The table is made from plexiglas with a faux tortoise pattern, and brass frame. It has a typical 1970s look. Mahey is a French designer who opened his own studio in 1966, and whose first collection in the same year was a big success. He is known for using high quality and lux materials.
